Health Savings Account
at-a-Glance

HSAs were established to provide persons covered by a high deductible health plan (HDHP) with a tax-free way to save for current and future healthcare expenses. You may pay for a wide range of IRS-qualified medical expenses with your HSA, including many that aren’t typically covered by health insurance plans. This includes deductibles, co-insurance, prescriptions, dental and vision care, and more.   • Minimum balance required: $100
  • Monthly service fees based on balance:
    • $6.00 if balance < $100.01
    • $4.00 if balance > $100 but < $200.01
    • $2.00 if balance > $200 but < $300.01
